Everything is Bigger in Texas

The largest Texas multifamily acquisition of the year has taken place in The Woodlands, north of Houston. The 450 unit apartment complex was developed starting in 2005 by a partnership of Cambridge Development Group and USAA Real Estate Company. Kennedy Associates Real Estate Council acted as an advisor to the Multi-Employer Property Trust on the purchase. As a trusted asset on this project, LM Consultants is proud to have provided the Property Evaluation Report and Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment for the acquisition team.
While the acquisition is a major transaction, the property represents a solid addition to the real estate portfolio due to its numerous awards. Boardwalk at Town Center won the 2008 Multi-Family Executive Award – Low Rise, Best of American Living Award – Best Residential Development up to Four Stories and was a finalist for the 2008 Landmark – Multi Family Award.
