AvalonBay and UDR Exchange $500M Worth of Multifamily Properties

AvalonBay Communities exchanged four properties, three in Massachusetts and one in California, for a UDR portfolio consisting of six California properties and cash. With this transaction, AvalonBay will exchange 1,566 of their units for 1,418 of UDR’s units.
